Milwaukee Mortgage Loans

Mortgage loans are available to help buyers purchase a home. If you are a renter you may have questions about the process. We offer a free credit analysis and pre-approval for renters looking to purchase a home. We offer conventional loans with as little as 5% down. Also FHA loans with as little as 3.5% down where all the downpayment can be a gift. We also offer Jumbo loans where the loan amount is more than $417,000.

If you are a veteran or have served a long time in the reserves you may be eligible for a VA loan. VA offers 100% financing with no mortgage insurance.

If you purchase in a rural area we offer USDA which is a 100% financing program.

Many purchases are HUD homes. There are some good deals on buying these homes.

How to Buy A Home?

Are you renting and thinking about buying? The first thing you want to do is to see what you can afford. Set an appointment with a lender and get pre-approved. Ask them what you need to bring to the meeting. Soon, likley the same day you will have a pre-approval letter in hand and will know what you can afford. Do you know an experienced Realtor? You want to pick a Realtor who has sold many homes so they will be experienced and know what to do when the unexpected pops up. How do you find a Realtor? You can get a referral from a friend or family member or go to some Open Houses and find someone with a personality that works well for you. Good Luck on finding your dream home.

$8000 Tax Credit To Be Extended

The $8000 Federal First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit will most likely be extended. The Senate passed a bill yesterday extending it until the end of June and inserted a $6500 credit for homeowners who have owned for five years and are buying a different property. Certain income limits apply. Stay tuned. The Bill now goes to the House and the President.
