Milwaukee Mortgages- Home Buyers

Welcome Milwaukee home buyers. Home sales are climbing and inventory is decreasing and if you don't act fast your selection will be limited. First step: Get pre approved or pre qualified by meeting with a lender and having them pull credit and review your income for the last two years. Also be prepared to present a 60 day snapshot of bank statements. Do you have an IRA or 401K at work? Do you have a family member that would give you a gift to be used as a downpayment? Next step find a good Realtor that works well with your needs. Then start looking! Good Luck and have fun on your journey.

Milwaukee Mortgage Loans

Mortgage loans are available to help buyers purchase a home. If you are a renter you may have questions about the process. We offer a free credit analysis and pre-approval for renters looking to purchase a home. We offer conventional loans with as little as 5% down. Also FHA loans with as little as 3.5% down where all the downpayment can be a gift. We also offer Jumbo loans where the loan amount is more than $417,000.

If you are a veteran or have served a long time in the reserves you may be eligible for a VA loan. VA offers 100% financing with no mortgage insurance.

If you purchase in a rural area we offer USDA which is a 100% financing program.

Many purchases are HUD homes. There are some good deals on buying these homes.

How to Buy A Home?

Are you renting and thinking about buying? The first thing you want to do is to see what you can afford. Set an appointment with a lender and get pre-approved. You want to pick a Realtor who has sold many homes so they will be experienced and know what to do when the unexpected pops up. How do you find a Realtor? You can get a referral from a friend or family member or go to some Open Houses and find someone with a personality that works well for you. Good Luck on finding your dream home.
